Marvel has found its goddess. Broadway breakout Maya Boyd has been cast as Ororo Munroe / Storm in Jake Schreier's upcoming untitled X-Men reboot, announced at D23 August 2026. Powerful, majestic and iconic — Boyd embodies everything fans have waited for. In the comics, her striking white hair, deep brown skin, and regal features are more than a look; they are a symbol of her connection to her motherland, her heritage, and her legacy as a descendant of Kenyan royalty and an African goddess.
